Well here is the mermaid, Im not sure Im done with her, I think the values are a little close together, so I may work on the maid to give her a little more definition. I like the sea weed though, I pushed it and the dolphin back with a blue glaze.
Looks great!!! The glaze was a good idea...really pushed them back and made the mermaid stand out..just a thought but if you darken the value a bit of her stomach area it might make her face more emphasized..could just be the photo but it seems to draw my attention alot where the tummy and skirt/fins join together might work to just blur and/or lose some of that hard edge etc in stead....just some thoughts to ponder. I likethe painting! Good feeling to it for sure! Highly tropical...go fix a pina colada and enjoy yourself!
