I have been trying to find the right silhouette
for my Hula Girl! It is driving
me a little insane. I get way to
detail oriented, I really want
it much more?? abstract? loose?
not really cartoony but...
aaarrrggg.

But these are my students paintings, which I have a "HEAVY" hand in. If I can come up with ideas, draw them and chose the paint and brushes, why am I not painting for myself.??
I have a theory. I think my creative juices get used up. Or Im just lazy... which is probably the right answer. Hope this wave turns out for the kid. : ) Hang 10 Dude.

I am a collector of quotes. All you have to do is check out Inside Art Dog Studio and see my inspiration board. I came across a couple of good ones that mad me stop and think...
“An Artist is never ahead of his time,
but, most people are far behind theirs.”
Edgar Varese
“Practice makes Permanent”
“Art is acquired, Science is learned”
Interpret as you will... Im still thinking about them!.
Send me any good quotes you might know or like.
Thanks
