I am creating and teaching a new class.

It is called Visual Journaling.

It will be taught in the fall at Los Gatos Recreation, I am talking to the JCC about organizing a class for them and of course I teach at my home studio.

This class will incorporate multiple techniques that could be used in your Visual Journal. You can incorporate this into travel, group activities, creative cook book, Art, personal journaling, class notes, or meetings, vision boarding, writing brain storming, project planning or any special projects we can come up with.

I look forward to seeing all the creative things my artist come up with, come and join.

Problems Painting.?

This is from my daily drawing book I get some paint on them, lots of days its just doodles.

But these are my students paintings, which I have a "HEAVY" hand in. If I can come up with ideas, draw them and chose the paint and brushes, why am I not painting for myself.??
I have a theory. I think my creative juices get used up. Or Im just lazy... which is probably the right answer. Hope this wave turns out for the kid. : ) Hang 10 Dude.

I have also been doing a drawing a day in my new sketch book I got for xmas. Im still working in my other sketch book too, trying to finish the last few pages to I can crack open my new Moleskin drawing book. You can never sketch enough.. Im thinking of taking another life drawing class just for fun.

This is a large canvas, acrylic Im working on. I have had a picture of some Peonies for some time and have wanted to paint it... I have been too busy to work on it lately but soon...: )

It is always so cool to see my art in the new owners home. This ABC was done especially for this new baby. (I know her mama) :) I hope she has many fun years looking at the painting!
