I am a collector of quotes. All you have to do is check out Inside Art Dog Studio and see my inspiration board. I came across a couple of good ones that mad me stop and think...

“An Artist is never ahead of his time,

but, most people are far behind theirs.”

Edgar Varese

“Practice makes Permanent”

“Art is acquired, Science is learned”

Interpret as you will... Im still thinking about them!.

Send me any good quotes you might know or like.

Thanks

I have also been doing a drawing a day in my new sketch book I got for xmas. Im still working in my other sketch book too, trying to finish the last few pages to I can crack open my new Moleskin drawing book. You can never sketch enough.. Im thinking of taking another life drawing class just for fun.

This is a large canvas, acrylic Im working on. I have had a picture of some Peonies for some time and have wanted to paint it... I have been too busy to work on it lately but soon...: )

It is always so cool to see my art in the new owners home. This ABC was done especially for this new baby. (I know her mama) :) I hope she has many fun years looking at the painting!

Here is my finished painting.

I am sending it to the new parents to be, I hope they enjoy it.

this is like painting 26 ok 25 individual paintings plus the boarder. It is fun, but very time consuming. I have made a dozen of these and each one is different, even if I choose the same image. The turtle and penguins are new for me.

here is a few close ups of the new ABC..

I really like the turtle : )

I have started an ABC for a friends daughter.... it takes a while to do all the gridding and drawing.
