Finally, drawing again!! I have a wedding at Hakoni garden, and my gift is a painting, so I went over to do a little recon. I found a good angle/comp/lighting. and had a great time. So now I need to get to drawing... More to come.

OK, well.. I got a new hair cut. But haven't been painting or drawing. I have 4 things I need to paint before next month. and Im coughing and drinking liquids laying on the couch. I don't know if its allergies or a cold, but I have felt better. I always say I work better under pressure..well thats sure building up fast. Wish me luck or at the very least send a cattle prod! ha

Well, Easter at our house was huge. 50 relatives invaded.. opps came over for a pot luck / bbq. The rain and wind chased most of the people inside, and all was good. Lots of food and fun had by all. I got away from painting my "hawaii" paintings but I am going to get back on that horse hopefully tomorrow. Wish me luck. This was my last painting, I did finally put a varnish on it and called it good. Im thinking about doing another version of it with the clouds a bit more graded. Everyone has really liked this one (me too) So Im going to do another to see if I can improve on it.. My garden is looking great, I have plants coming up in good ol' spring fashion. It gets me so excited to see everything popping up out of the ground. I know some of it is probably weeds but Im hoping for flowers too. I'll keep you posted. Took my new sketch book to the Museum. They had plastic candied apples, cakes, donuts and easels with colored pencils and paper so anyone can draw. It was very fun. I have a couple of pages done on this new book and am going to work on it every day. (famous last words :)...

Bought the book, of course!, I really like the pictures he is painting of the "valley" with all the plowed fields and meandering water. If you have a chance to go and see this show, do it, and if not call and order the book!!

Went to San Jose Museum today and saw Wayne Theiboud's show... thought this looked like Cruz at Santa Cruz!

OK... it has been too long, I know... I am putting this up to inspire me to get on with it. I have been painting some ornaments for a xmas house in Hawaii for next year and have lots of ideas for some small paintings too. I am teaching and getting ready to do a demo for the Menlo Art league in Feb. and my LGrec. class on Tue, starting on the 19. I have also been working out at the gym and after a Dr. visit today have GAINED... yes???? GAINED 10lbs I did not need!! GDI. My friends say its muscle, Im going with that and if in the next 6 mo.s I don't loose weight, please keep all fire arms away from me, because that 26 studmuffin trainer may get something he didn't count on!! Making me suffer for what MORE WEIGHT! Ok ok,,, Im ok,... Im going to create more and draw more and be at one with the universe, and Believe.... So wish me luck.
